We’re changing things up and doing a limited NZ release of this super-popular Metalbird duo from the UK flock. Like the bird, they’re not here in great numbers, so catch them while you can! These Barn Swallows are true internationals – they live on every continent except Antarctica. But wherever they are, they’re always searching out a barn – or a shed – to build their cool mud nests on. A super-agile flier, the Barn Swallow can hunt at speed just a few inches above the ground or over water, its deeply forked tail streaming out behind it. What a worthy pair for your backyard.
